The KU Real Estate Club is focused on opening the student body at KU up to the world of residential and commercial real estate. The purpose of this club is to give fellow Jayhawks the opportunity to explore the real estate field and begin to understand what real estate entails. Whether this is working with local commercial real estate companies based in Kansas City, local developers, and or residential real estate companies, our goal is to give our club opportunities to begin to see what the real estate world is like. The club will also invite guest speakers that will cover the wide variety of work in the real estate field to come and talk to us about their careers and what they do in their day-to-day work and their different insights into the industry.  We will also work within the club with the members on doing our own research of the market and what trends are going on in the real estate world. Whether this is investment real estate like buying homes, apartments, and condos to flip, rent, or lease, or all the way to commercial deals involving different aspects of the deals whether it is the land, leasing, or tenants. We will look into how deals are made and what deals have been made in the local area and nationwide.
