General Allocation Funding
General funding is distributed semesterly for operations planned ahead of time, with the exception of travel. Amounts will be based on:

- Amount requested
- Organization's size
- Organization's contribution to UBC meetings and initiatives
How to Apply for Funding
- Fill out the UBC General Allocation Funding Request below
- Have your faculty advisor sign off on the completed request via email
- Deliver the request either by email to the UBC Director of Funding
General Allocation Funding Requests will be communicated by the Director of Funding.
Special Event Funding
The UBC provides additional funding for special events such as those planned midway through the semester or particularly large or expensive events. The UBC Executive Board will score your request based on the following metrics:

Special Event funding requests are due at least 2 weeks before the proposed event.
- The number of students affected by your event
- The impact of your event on the School of Business and students
- Efforts your organization has made to receive outside funding
- A sensible timeline.

- Deliver the request to the UBC Director of Funding

Travel Funding
The UBC and the School of Business support students and organizations traveling for professional development. Funding is to be used for registration fees, hotel expenses, and airfare and mileage, but cannot be used for meals.

Other Sources of Funding
The UBC encourages your organization to use other sources of funding as well, including sponsorships from area businesses, crowdsourcing through LaunchKU, Pepsi Funding, and Student Senate funding.
