The Finance Club has wide goals of reaching every finance major at the University of Kansas to provide networking, guest speaker events, and interactive supplemental instruction. The finance club has cemented itself as one of the most prominent student ran organizations on campus with a large, active student body that continues to grow. We have set goals of creating a place where students can grow outside the classroom to experience what finance can look like in the real world. With our guest speakers we try to bring in a diverse group including upper finance careers such as Investment Bankers, Private Equity Specialists, and Venture Capitalists. Furthermore, we try to bring in Financial Advisors, Consultants, CEOs, and much more. Additionally, we try to create interactive events for students including investing exercises, student panels, and networking opportunities. As we keep growing this club we hope to keep creating events for students to grow with us and additionally help get more of the KU Business School interested in the career of finance.
