Director of J Café

The Director of the J Café will manage the student run coffee shop here on campus. The director position will serve as part of the Undergraduate Business Council and help support its mission. Our goal as the UBC is to support student clubs and organizations of the School of Business with the profits of the J Café.
The J Café is a student ran and is an excellent opportunity to work with other students and experience running a business.
The Director of the J Cafe serves on the UBC Executive Board and meets on Monday nights, but more importantly, the J Cafe Director will run the J Cafe. Finance and accounting majors are highly preferred for this position.
This position would require a commitment until May 2025 and requires about 5 hours per week. You must be a strong communicator for this position as you would constantly communicate with our UBC Advisor, Kelvie Crabb.

- Work with managers of the J Café to ensure the day-to-day business is running smoothly.
- Manage accounts payable, cash deposits, and other financial matters.
- Strategize marketing methods to promote sales and maximize revenue.
Applications are in constant review until the application is filled. Interviews will then be conducted by the J-Cafe managers.
